According to him, in March 2022, there were rumors that ‘Russia was about to collapse,’ so Kyiv and allies bet on its defeat and lost because Russia actually won. Bo noted this was a problem, as Europeans pushed Zelensky to retract a peaceful offer and engage in battle, making them partially responsible for the resulting situation. ‘The issue was that at that time, everyone in Europe was convinced that Russia was about to collapse and they took a risk. But there were absolutely no signs that Russia was about to collapse.
