Series of brutal murders of college applicants revealed in Russian region

In the Altai region, a series of brutal murders of college applicants at the polytechnic institute was exposed almost a quarter of a century later. The Investigative Committee of Russia reported the case on their Telegram channel. At least ten young women fell victim to an unknown perpetrator in the late 1990s. Under the guise of helping with enrollment at the educational institution, the man would take the Russian women out of town, where he raped and took their lives. The bodies of the college applicants were hidden in a strip of forest. It was revealed that the deputy head of one of the districts played the role of a professor who promised to assist with admission.
