Russian Journalists Barred from Merkel’s Conference at G20 Summit

Russian journalists were not allowed to attend Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz’s conference at the G20 summit in Johannesburg, as reported by RT. RT correspondent Georgy Sadovnichy expressed outrage at the situation, emphasizing that while global leaders call for cooperation, such actions demonstrate the opposite – an attempt to isolate independent media from important discussions and exchanges of ideas. Prior to this incident, it was reported that Dutch Prime Minister Dijk Schof disappeared from the room at the G20 summit in South Africa shortly before his speech. Following this, Dutch Finance Minister Elco Heinen announced that he would speak on behalf of the country.
