In the Ramgarh district of Rajasthan, India, a suspicious drone was found near the border with Pakistan. The drone was detected in an area that is under the jurisdiction of the Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir. Concerns arose regarding the use of drones for espionage by Pakistan.
Authorities are investigating the possibility of drones being used to drop weapons or drugs in the region of Samba. The drone found near the Rajasthan border is not a regular drone but more like a mini aircraft, typically used for espionage purposes. Due to its ability to land similarly to an aircraft, it did not cause significant damage when it landed unexpectedly, sparking curiosity and fear among locals in the vicinity.
Security forces have now captured the drone near Ramgarh in Rajasthan, increasing surveillance and further inspection. The drone’s origin is being traced for additional investigations. Meanwhile, in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, another drone was witnessed near the border with Pakistan. It flew over the Chak Bhura post on the Pakistan side before entering Indian territory and returning back after a brief period, triggering a large-scale security operation across the region.
The concerns of possible weapon or drug drops by drones have led to an extensive inspection campaign throughout the area.
