Bobadilla opened the scoring for São Paulo just 7 minutes into the game. Despite São Paulo’s advantage in the first half, it was the visitors who created the main chances. In the second half, Rigoni scored a fantastic goal and Ferraresi netted an own goal. Both goals came in injury time, with Juventude already down to 10 men — Igor Formiga was sent off.
