German TÜV has released its 2025 report, revealing a new record for Tesla. The Model Y is considered the most problematic car in Germany at the age of 2-3 years, with serious defects found in 17.3% of vehicles. This surpasses even the statistics for the Model 3, previously considered the worst two years in a row. The main complaints from inspectors are about suspension, brake system, and lighting equipment.
