Chandigarh: Punjab experiences a sudden change in weather, leading to chilly nights and fresh snowfall in the mountains. The Meteorological Department predicts a daily decrease of 1-2 degrees in temperature in the state.
According to weather experts, some areas also experience light fog. The onset of December may bring mist, improving the air quality index. By the end of November or the beginning of December, a slight decrease in temperature is expected, with a possibility of mist.
While no fog warnings are issued until November 27, dry weather is anticipated. The nights in the northern-western districts such as Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, and Fazilka will range from 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. In other districts, temperatures will range from 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.
Most areas will experience slightly lower temperatures, except for some central and eastern regions where temperatures will be near average.
