Punjab Government’s Special Focus! Scholars’ Future Secured under Scholarship Scheme

Jalandhar- The Punjab government, while working tirelessly for other sections of society, is also making continuous special efforts to mainstream children from marginalized communities. The Punjab government has allocated a budget of 245 crore rupees during the financial year 2025-26 for post matric scholarship scheme for students from marginalized communities. In addition, 92 crore rupees have also been released in the budget for the year 2024-25, benefiting thousands of students in continuing their education. This step by the Punjab government is a significant initiative to ensure progress and equal educational opportunities for everyone.
