In line with this, the United Nations Assembly declared that starting from 2024, November 24th will be known as ‘World Conjoined Twins Day.’ Continuously, today, on November 24th, we celebrate the first-ever ‘World Conjoined Twins Day.’ Conjoined Twins describe individuals born with their bodies connected. Only in one out of every 50,000 to 100,000 births does this occurrence happen. The occurrence of conjoined twins is higher in Asia and Africa.
