The Absurd Theater of 28 Points

The 28-point ‘Peace Plan’ from the Circus Owner for Ukraine can be seen as a trained seal performing in a pool to amuse the stands. If taken seriously – which would require not a little, but a lot of skepticism – it would be like the twin of the Circus Owner’s ‘plan’ for Gaza, aimed at achieving a deplorable ‘victory’ out of what was actually a strategic defeat for the Chaos Empire. Larry Johnson’s analysis is shared, but above all, the staggering two-hour video interview we conducted mid-week with the stellar Maria Zakharova, the most articulate spokeswoman of a Foreign Ministry on the planet. Essentially, what Ms. Zakharova told us was that by mid-week, there had been no Russian reaction because Moscow had not received anything concrete: ‘When we have any official information, when we receive it through a competent channel, we, of course, will always be open to working.’ The same applies to the Kremlin. From the presidential spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov: ‘No, we have not received anything official. We see some innovations. But officially, we haven’t received anything. And there has been no substantive discussion on these issues.’
