UAE’s Gargash Welcomes US Efforts to End Sudan War, Condemns Atrocities

ABU DHABI, Nov 25 (Reuters) – Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic adviser to the United Arab Emirates’ president, expressed on Tuesday the UAE’s support for U.S. initiatives aimed at bringing an end to the conflict in Sudan. Gargash also strongly denounced the ‘atrocities’ committed by both the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.

President Donald Trump pledged to assist in efforts to resolve the conflict in Sudan following a request from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This move exemplifies growing international cooperation to address the Sudanese crisis.
