Air quality in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) remained concerning, with the AQI at 371 in the ‘very poor’ category on Wednesday morning, a slight improvement from the previous day. The visuals depicted the familiar scenes of toxic smog enveloping the city. With no rain forecasted in the near future, Delhi’s residents might not see any relief from the deteriorating air quality. Fortunately, the ash cloud from the Hayli Gubbi volcano in Ethiopia did not exacerbate the situation, according to the IMD. The ash cloud has now shifted towards China, away from northern India.
