Kremlin announces preliminary agreement for Whitkoff’s visit to Moscow next week

Moscow. November 26. INTERFAX.RU – A preliminary agreement has been reached for the arrival of US President’s special envoy Steve Whitkoff in Moscow next week, said Russian President’s assistant Yuri Ushakov. “Regarding Whitkoff, I can say that a preliminary agreement has been reached for him to come to Moscow next week,” Ushakov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin for the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin,” which airs on the channel “Russia-1” (VGTRK). The journalist posted an excerpt in his Telegram channel. Ushakov mentioned that Whitkoff will come along with “several other representatives of the administration who are involved in Ukrainian affairs.” Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Whitkoff would visit Russia to discuss Ukrainian settlement.
