Seventeen bodies were found in South Tapanuli district and eight in Sibolga city. Central Tapanuli also faced landslides, claiming the lives of a family of four. The search in Pakpak Bharat district led to the recovery of two bodies, with five people missing in Humbang Hasundutan. Cloud seeding is planned to prevent more rainfall. The Meteorology Agency forecasts additional downpours in North Sumatra. Successive rainfall could spell more danger until next week.
