Jakarta – The issue of royalties in the Indonesian music industry continues to be a topic of interest. This time, Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI) as a Collective Management Organization (CMO) announced the postponement of the third stage of royalty distribution. WAMI distributes royalties to its members in three stages over a year. The first stage is in March, the second in July. Musicians were supposed to receive the earnings from their royalties in November 2025. However, unfortunately, this had to be postponed. ‘For this November period, the distribution process was delayed because LMKN is still conducting additional verifications,’ WAMI’s statement said on Thursday (11/27/2025).
