Petrobras (PETR4) Reduces Investment Plan to US$ 109 Billion Between 2026 and 2030

Petrobras’ board of directors approved investments of US$ 109 billion for the period between 2026 and 2030 on Thursday. The amount is 1.8% lower than proposed last year, with the oil company attributing the reduction to lower oil price scenarios. The project was reportedly approved unanimously by the board. ‘It was approved, and passed (by the board) with flying colors at US$109 billion… everyone debated, the board was engaged, and we had alignment with committees and councils,’ a source told Reuters on condition of anonymity. The reduction had been expected, as previously reported by Bloomberg.
