In addition to the schedule, event representatives revealed that ten brands present in the current edition have officially confirmed their participation in the next Car Show. Two other brands have expressed their intention to return to the event. Among the confirmed brands are Caoa Chery, Caoa Changan, Hyundai, Renault, Stellantis, Toyota, Kia, Omoda Jaecoo, GAC, and Suzuki Motorcycles. Honda and Mitsubishi, on the other hand, stated their intention to return and are currently under evaluation. Igor Calvet, president of Anfavea, celebrated the return of the event to the national automotive calendar in biennial editions – the main event in the automotive sector in Latin America has not been held since 2018. ‘The Car Show has returned in the way it deserved: acclaimed by brands, authorities, and especially by the public. The undeniable success of this edition fills us with pride and brings us the responsibility to make an even better event in 2027,’ he said. The organizers have a challenging task ahead of them until 2027: to try to bring back important brands that were absent from the 2025 edition. Manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Volkswagen, and Ford were absent, as well as luxury brands like BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volvo. The São Paulo Motor Show still faces tough competition, such as the Interlagos Festival, which takes place annually and even includes test drives at the main racetrack in South America. In the 2025 edition, the return of the Car Show after seven years brought together almost 30 brands and hundreds of cars (check out the highlights).
