Floods and landslides have killed at least 604 people in Indonesia, 366 in Sri Lanka, and 176 in Thailand, according to authorities. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has promised to rebuild the infrastructure during a visit to the affected areas, as some regions remain inaccessible due to damaged roads and disrupted communication lines. Residents are relying on aircraft for supplies. At least 464 people are missing in Indonesia. The floods have displaced 290,700 people in the provinces of North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh, as reported by the National Disaster Management Agency.
