Zelensky and Whitkoff held a phone call

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. Presidential Envoy Steve Whitkoff held a phone call, as reported by BFMTV citing the Elysee Palace. President of France Emmanuel Macron and Zelensky also spoke with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, European Council President Antonio Costa, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, as well as several other European heads of state and government. Details of the conversations were not disclosed. On December 1st, Zelensky arrived in France with his wife Olena, where he met Macron in person. The Ukrainian leader plans to visit the production facilities of the aerospace company Dassault Aviation. According to AFP, Whitkoff also had a second meeting on Monday with the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov.
