Chandigarh: Big news is emerging in Punjab regarding the Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. A major decision has been taken by the Punjab State Election Commission regarding the issuance of NOCs to candidates. As per this decision, now candidates can submit their affidavits instead of NOCs. During the nomination process, several political parties complained about not receiving NOCs, resulting in this decision by the State Election Commission.
