Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan had a conversation with journalists outside the Adiala Jail after meeting her brother. She revealed that Imran Khan is being subjected to ‘mental torture’. The PTI spokesperson and an official from Adiala Jail confirmed that Uzma Khan was granted permission to meet Imran Khan. When Imran Khan’s three sisters arrived at the jail on Tuesday for a meeting, they were initially stopped by the deployed police officers. However, after some time, a jail official sent a message allowing Uzma Khan to meet her brother. The meeting took place and Uzma Khan later spoke to the press about her brother’s condition. She said, ‘He was very angry and said they are subjecting us to mental torture, keeping us locked in a room all day and only allowing us out for a short period. There is no permission for any communication. Asim Munir is responsible for everything that is happening.’ Uzma Khan also mentioned that they were only able to talk for 20 minutes, and her health is perfectly fine. Prior to this meeting, her family claimed that they were not granted permission to meet the former Prime Minister for nearly a month. They alleged that government officials did not want Imran Khan’s messages to come out of jail.
