Russian biathlete Victoria Metelya took first place in the mass start at the Alpha Bank Commonwealth Cup stage in Khanty-Mansiysk. Metelya completed the 10 km distance in 29 minutes 36 seconds with two missed shots at four shooting ranges. Second place went to Anastasia Grishina (+9.2 seconds; 2 missed shots), while Christina Reztsova closed the top three (+15.5; 2 missed shots). All athletes represent Russia. Olympic champion Dinara Smolskaya from Belarus finished sixth (+27.0; 2 missed shots). Later on Friday, the men’s mass start will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk.
