India and Russia Strengthen Independent Foreign Policy, Discuss Strategic Partnership

The leaders also discussed the upcoming Indian chairmanship of BRICS and pledged support. Putin mentioned the historical support provided by Russia to modernize the Indian Army and expressed satisfaction with the strategic partnership’s progress.
