Food Poisoning at Ahmedabad Event: 40 People Affected and One Fatality

In the Jamalpur area of Ahmedabad, a new home celebration turned into a nightmare when approximately 35-40 people fell ill after consuming ‘carrot halwa’ at a food event organized by a family. The symptoms, including stomach pain, vomiting, and dizziness, started showing soon after the participants had the dessert. The situation quickly escalated, leading to the affected individuals being rushed to the nearby hospital for immediate treatment. Unfortunately, one young man lost his life during the incident, turning the celebratory event into a somber affair.
