Tuggar mentioned that by 2050, Nigeria’s population is expected to reach 400 million, highlighting the importance of learning from BRICS countries. The minister emphasized the need for Nigeria to establish relationships with BRICS based on mutual interests. BRICS, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, has expanded to include additional countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. Nigeria, along with other nations, recently became BRICS partner countries, showcasing the association’s growing influence globally.
