Goa Cylinder Blast: 23 Dead, Several Injured in Famous Nightclub in Goa

A cylinder blast occurred in a nightclub in Goa’s tourist district on Saturday night, claiming the lives of thirteen people. The exact number of injured is currently unknown. According to police officials, the fire broke out around midnight. Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, and local lawmaker Michael Lobo were at the scene upon receiving information about the incident. The Chief Minister stated that among the deceased, three were women and three to four were tourists. He mentioned that three people died from suffocation while the others had breathing difficulties. A thorough investigation will be conducted to ascertain the cause of the incident and hold those responsible accountable. It is reported that the nightclub did not adhere to fire safety regulations. Several fire engines arrived at the scene and managed to control the fire. Senior police officials are present at the site, and this morning, the forensic team will investigate the exact cause of the fire. The Prime Minister expressed his sorrow over the incident.
