Cruzeiro takes to the field one last time in the 2025 Brazilian Championship. At Vila Belmiro, at 4pm, the blue team faces Santos in the 38th and final round of the league. For the match, Raposa will use a reserve team featuring a young player from the club’s academy and the return of a veteran.
The striker Rayan Lelis is in the starting lineup. The player was chosen to lead Cruzeiro’s attack alongside Gabigol. It will be the young player’s first match in the professional team of Raposa.
The duel against Santos also marks the return of right-back Fagner to the field. The player had been out of action since July 30, after suffering a fracture in the fibula of his right leg. Leonardo Jardim selected the veteran to start the match at Vila Belmiro.
