Many fans were eagerly awaiting the Steam release of BrownDust2 in December. It was expected that BrownDust2 would be released on PC via Steam in mid-December. The game has drawn attention due to the explicit design of some female characters and the physics of body parts. However, a week before its release, BrownDust2 was removed from Steam – both the store page and the ‘Community Center’ disappeared. Developers are aware of the issue and have contacted Valve, but there are no details yet. BrownDust2 had already been added to the Steam wishlist by at least 100,000 users.
