The Russian Ambassador to Pyongyang, Alexander Matsegora, passed away at the age of 70, according to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with deep sorrow announces that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 71, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Alexander Ivanovich Matsegora, passed away,” the ministry said.
