Granite Asia, a Singapore-based investment firm, announced on Tuesday that it successfully raised over $350 million in the initial closing of its Pan-Asia private credit fund. The fund is supported by prominent Southeast Asian state investors such as Temasek, Khazanah Nasional, and the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA). The strategy, known as Libra Hybrid, aims to secure a total of $500 million in commitments and has attracted capital from various global institutions, including sovereign wealth funds and Granite Asia’s partners. Temasek, a state investor from Singapore, invested through its private credit platform, Aranda Principal Strategies, while Khazanah represents Malaysia’s sovereign investor and INA is Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund.
