Business Desk: Tomato prices are rising rapidly again, with experts attributing the increase to a decrease in supply due to heavy rainfall in several states last October, leading to crop damage and reduced supply. According to the Department of Consumer Affairs, on Monday, the average wholesale price of tomatoes surged by 26% compared to a month earlier, reaching Rs 48.23 per kilogram.
