Embraer’s Flying Car: BNDES approves an additional R$ 200 million

Embraer’s Eve announced on Tuesday (9) the approval of a R$ 200 million financing by BNDES (Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development) for the company’s flying car project. The aircraft is expected to make its first flight by the end of this year. As the CEO of Embraer mentioned, the funds will be allocated towards the testing phases of the prototype. This new funding adds to the R$ 1.2 billion that the bank has already approved for the project since 2022. The financial support provided by BNDES demonstrates a commitment to innovative aerospace projects in Brazil.
