Peru to Become the First Logistic and Route Coordination Center of the South Pacific

Peru is aiming to lead the South Pacific region. In Jakarta, during her State visit to Indonesia, President Dina Boluarte announced that her government is ‘laying the groundwork’ for Peru to become the main logistic center and coordination hub of the South Pacific. She emphasized projects such as the Chancay megaport and the new Jorge Chavez airport. Boluarte stated that these investments are strategic in positioning Peru as a key player in the region’s transportation and logistics sector. The president’s vision is for Peru to play a significant role in connecting trade routes across the South Pacific.
