Trump Administration Orders Halt to US-China Trade War, Extending Truce by 90 Days

President Trump announced on Monday the signing of an executive order to further suspend US tariffs on China for 90 days, with the Ministry of Commerce of China also taking corresponding measures. This marks the second extension of the truce between the US and China since May.

The first truce period on US-China tariffs expired on Tuesday, August 12, President Trump announced on the social platform Truth Social that he had signed an executive order to suspend the imposition of tariffs on China, extending the bilateral truce agreement until November 10 this year.
