Many countries recognize Palestine, but achieving a widely recognized country status internationally is not easy. Israel’s traditional allies like France, Canada, and possibly the UK are starting to acknowledge Palestine. Additionally, around 150 other countries also recognize Palestine. However, establishing a country status that is widely accepted internationally is a complex process. Becoming a member of the UN is one way to solidify a country’s status.
