Acer, a leading IT and technology solutions company, has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Puducherry in partnership with Plumage Solutions. This strategic move aims to boost the local production of IT hardware within the country. The facility will focus on manufacturing a range of products including computer monitors, all-in-one desktops, servers, workstations, power adapters, and up to 3 lakh laptops per year, generating a significant number of high-skill jobs in the region.
