Gaza Children Dying from Malnutrition – Near East Relief Agency Warns of War Impact

The head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for the Near East, Lazzarini, tweeted on Wednesday that the deaths of these young lives are ‘the latest evidence of the impact of war on Gaza children.’ He stated that around 40,000 children have died or been injured due to bombings and airstrikes, with at least 17,000 children orphaned or separated from their families, and about 1 million children suffering from severe psychological trauma or dropping out of school. Lazzarini said, ‘When children die or are cruelly robbed of their future, wherever they are, including Gaza, people should not remain silent.’
