Ukrainian President Zelensky reiterated the importance of not ending the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war negotiations without Ukrainian representation. He also stated that Russia should face sanctions if they do not agree to an immediate ceasefire. Zelensky previously held a video conference with US President Donald Trump and European leaders. Zelensky made the remarks after the call on Wednesday. Two days later, Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Alaska. The summit is one of Washington’s efforts to end the Ukraine war, all of which have so far failed.
