Indian Embassies in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates took charge of official celebrations for India’s 79th Independence Day. The festivities included traditional flag hoisting ceremonies, community gatherings, and cultural events to mark the country’s independence from British rule in 1947. The overseas Indian community in the Middle East actively participated in these celebrations organized by the embassies in the respective countries.
