Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Japan’s Unconditional Surrender, New Beijing News Junior Reporter Visits War of Resistance Museum to Honor Heroes

On August 15, 2025, the 80th anniversary of Japan’s unconditional surrender was commemorated. On this special day, New Beijing News junior reporters visited the War of Resistance Museum in China, guided by an interpreter to learn about this history and pay tribute to the revolutionary heroes.
On July 8 this year, after the upgrade and renovation, the China War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Memorial Hall reopened. The exhibition area expanded from the original 6,700 square meters to 12,200 square meters, featuring the theme exhibition “For National Liberation and World Peace – Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.” As of August 7, the number of visitors exceeded 300,000.
