800,000 more to follow: Iran has deported over a million Afghan refugees in six months

In the past six months, the Iranian government has deported 1.2 million Afghan refugees. By March next year, another 800,000 and a total of two out of the six million Afghans must leave the country, according to Interior Minister. About six million Afghans had sought refuge in the neighboring country by the beginning of the year. Now, about a third of them are expected to leave. Iran is consistently implementing this agenda.
