CAIRO – The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, declared on Monday that the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is a ‘red line’ that Cairo will not tolerate. In an interview with the media, Abdelatty emphasized that Egypt will not allow any actions that jeopardize the country’s national security or sovereignty. The warning was directed specifically at Israel, cautioning against any potential mass displacement of Gazans that could trigger a humanitarian crisis. Egyptian authorities are firm in their stance to protect the Palestinian population in Gaza and prevent any forced removal of residents.
