In a letter addressed to the UN, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom stated they are prepared to trigger the “snapback” against Iran if no negotiated solution is reached regarding the Iranian nuclear program by the end of August. The Iranian foreign minister responded, stating that the European countries have no right to reinstate sanctions.
