An underwater volcano situated off the coast of Oregon, known as Axial Seamount, is causing approximately 1,000 small tremors each day. According to USA Today, researchers suggest that a massive volcano, located 4,500 feet beneath the ocean’s surface, might erupt in 2025. The area surrounding the volcano has been experiencing heightened seismic activity, with scientists registering over 2,000 earthquakes in just one day near the volcano in June.
