Hezbollah Chief Rejects Lebanon’s Disarmament Plan, Says It Serves Israel |Vantage with Palki Sharma

Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem has rejected Lebanon’s decision to disarm the group, calling it a move that serves Israel’s interests. Speaking after meeting Iran’s top security chief, Ali Larijani, Qassem vowed Hezbollah would fight to keep its weapons as long as Israeli “aggression and occupation” continue. The Lebanese government, under U.S.-backed pressure, has ordered the army to prepare a plan to remove Hezbollah’s arms — a step Qassem warns would weaken the “resistance” and benefit Israel.
