The SCO Tianjin Summit is set to take place from August 31 to September 1, with the participation of leaders from over 20 countries and 10 international organizations. This summit will be the largest in the history of the SCO, sure to be a united, friendly, and fruitful gathering. For 24 years, the SCO has upheld the ‘Shanghai Spirit’ of ‘mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality, consultation, respect for diverse civilizations, and pursuit of common development’. With its expanding influence, it has become the most extensive regional international organization today. China will assume the SCO’s rotating presidency from 2024 to 2025, having already hosted over 100 important events that have effectively promoted ‘hard connectivity’ among SCO countries.
