The Australian government has decided to partially cut ties with Tehran after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese blamed the country for anti-Semitic attacks in Australia against the Jewish community. In particular, Albania accused Iran of being behind cyberattacks and incidents of vandalism that targeted Jewish businesses and synagogues. As a result, Australia expelled the Iranian ambassador and suspended cooperation with Iran on various fronts. This decision reflects Australia’s strong stance against anti-Semitism and sends a clear message that such acts will not be tolerated within its borders.
