Oman’s cricket team has announced Jatinder Singh as their captain for the upcoming Asia Cup, set to take place in the United Arab Emirates starting on September 9. Singh, who hails from Punjab, will be leading the team as they embark on their campaign in the prestigious tournament, facing Pakistan in their first match three days after the tournament’s commencement. On Tuesday, Oman unveiled their squad for the Asia Cup, introducing four new players to the roster: Sufyan Yousuf, Zikria Islam, Faisal Shah, and Nadeem Khan. Alongside these newcomers, the team will rely on experienced individuals like former captain Zeeshan Maqsood, Khawar Ali, Bilal Khan, and Fayyaz Butt.
