The US national team performs horribly in a major international tournament. The group stage of the America’s Cup, held in Managua (Nicaragua), keeps basketball fans entertained. Take, for example, the match between the national teams of the Dominican Republic and Argentina, where the Dominicans dominated and caused a historical humiliation to the Americans on the court. The US team has been criticized for its poor performance and inability to match the level of its opponents.
