Pak and Iran Army Chiefs Commit to Eradicating Terrorism for Border Security

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and Iranian counterpart Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi expressed their shared determination to eliminate terrorism and enhance border security in both nations. Emphasizing the need for collaboration, Munir stated, ‘We must jointly transform the Pakistan-Iran border into a zone of friendship, brotherhood, and economic progress.’ This commitment comes amidst escalating threats posed by terrorist activities along the border. Earlier this month, leaders from both countries engaged in discussions to address common challenges and enhance cooperation. By bolstering their joint efforts, Pakistan and Iran aim to create a secure environment for their citizens and foster economic stability in the region.
